As a Structural Steel Fabricator / Welder / Steel Erector, you will help build strong, long-lasting structures in both our fabrication shop and in the field. Key Responsibilities

Ideal candidates will be comfortable with tasks such as:

• Fabricating structural steel columns, beams, frames, and components from shop drawings
  Fabricating miscellaneous steel
• Using fabrication tools such as saws, welders, drills, and ironworkers
• Welding in common positions using SMAW and FCAW
• Passing AWS D1.1 3G and 4G qualification tests
• Operating welders, plasma cutters, cranes, and forklifts
• Completing layout and fit-up work while maintaining tolerances
• Installing miscellaneous steel in the field when needed
• Keeping work areas clean and organized
• Caring for tools and equipment
• Working independently and as part of a team

Ideal Qualifications

We welcome applicants who bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• 3+ years welding experience (FCAW, GMAW, SMAW)
• 2+ years fabrication experience
• MIG/TIG welding for aluminum or stainless
• Stair and railing fabrication experience
