As an Excavation Foreman, you will lead crews, coordinate utilities, and manage equipment and field activity. Key Responsibilities
Ideal candidates will be comfortable with tasks such as:
- Leading excavation crews and coordinating daily work
- Installing sanitary, watermain, and storm sewer utilities
- Operating heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, and loaders
- Using Trimble GPS for layout and grading
- Coordinating subcontractors and inspectors
- Maintaining soil erosion controls
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
- Supporting general jobsite tasks
- Performing minor mechanical troubleshooting
Ideal Qualifications
We welcome applicants who bring:
- CDL Class A license
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- 5+ years heavy equipment operation
- 5+ years experience as an excavation foreman
- Trimble GPS experience
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Knowledge of OSHA safety rules
- Strong communication and leadership
